In 2019, SIBS implemented the first electronic interbank system in East Timor, P24, covering ATMs and POS Terminals, and allowing access to the main banking transactions.
The project also includes the interconnection between the telecommunications operators (Timor Telecom, Telemor and Telkomcel), allowing the development of the Mobile Money System.
