SIBS has defined as its main objective the development of safe technological solutions with relevant social impact and fostering collaborative ecosystems that contribute to innovation and progress.

To this end, SIBS undertakes to:

  • Create long-term value for partners, developing solutions with impact
  • Ensuring the quality, safety and accessibility of services, across the payment ecosystem
  • Promote digital literacy, as well as accessibility to payment services
  • Streamline the digital transformation of the payments ecosystem, including startups and SMEs
  • Contribute to social and community well-being
  • Actively contribute to anti-fraud and (cyber)security actions

In this way, SIBS intends to contribute to two of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) defined by the United Nations:
